## Macroconomics

It is taught using a mathematical approach, with the focus on providing an intuitive understanding to core economic theory, which will also include ‘real world’ applications. Graphical analysis will also be used to illustrate key concepts, giving students a different way of examining problems that will complement the mathematics skills learnt in other modules.

## Exciting News! Funding Granted for Innovative Research-led Teaching in Economics

## A Data based Introduction to Macroeconomics Course Design

Posted on:November 22, 2023 at 10:35 AMThis project will design a real-world data-based introduction to macroeconomics course for undergraduates and graduates, integrating Python or R with theoretical models and macroeconomic data. Students will learn data handling, analysis, visualization, and optimization, along with programming fundamentals and key Python libraries like Matplotlib, NumPy, and pandas.
